Kathleen M. Rivers

Education

Kathleen Rivers graduated with a B.A. in Government and International Relations from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2011. She then attended and graduated cum laude from Albany Law School, where she was a member of Albany Law Review and served as the editor-in-chief of the New York State Bar Associates’ Government & Policy Journal. While at Albany Law School, Attorney Rivers was also a member of the Moot Court Board and ran the Dominick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Competition.

Practice

Kate joined Furlan & Associates in 2018. Prior to that, she worked for the Office of the Windham County State’s Attorney, where she focused primarily on domestic violence cases. Her practice now concentrates on cases in the family and criminal divisions.

Personal

Kate is an eighth generation Vermonter who runs, plays with her Cocker Spaniel, listens to music, plays fantasy football, ice skates, and captures photographic images on medium-format film.
